About Mic Harrison:

Mic Harrison has been a fixture on the Knoxville music scene for more than a few years now—not just doing time and paying his dues in local venues, but also as an integral member of well-known internationally touring outfits V-Roys and Superdrag. He's still tearing it up hither and yon with his current band, The High Score.

From Mic Harrison's MySpace page, here's a bit of history and some words about his most recent solo project:

Mic Harrison has been an integral part of the V-Roys and Superdrag, two of the most successful and acclaimed bands to hail from Knoxville, Tennessee. His new album, Pallbearer's Shoes, establishes him as a solo artist to be reckoned with.... For Pallbearer's Shoes, Harrison has enlisted the help of several buddies, including V-Roys alumni Scott Miller and Paxton Sellers, Don Coffey and John Davis of Superdrag, Doug Gillard of Guided By Voices, Peggy Hambright formerly of pop group the JudyBats, Todd Steed and Knoxville's Stewart Pack. The disc further affirms Harrison's knack for songwriting sensibility and rock 'n' roll grit. From the catchy power pop of "Hole In My Heart" to the rock-solid Americana of "Journey's End" to the sweet sentiment of "Back to Knoxville," Harrison delivers songs that render equal blows to the heart, head and the gut. Pallbearer's Shoes is an album covered with the honest dirt of life.
