Hosted by Knoxville musician and radio personality Todd Steed, Studio 865 showcases East Tennessee music on both television and radio. On UTTV—Comcast 194 and campus cable 65—Studio 865 is a half-hour show featuring studio performances and informal interviews. On the radio, you get a full hour of music and interviews: WUOT 91.9 FM airs the audio of Studio 865, followed by The Flip Side, another half-hour program where Todd’s guests play some of their favorite music and discuss what the songs mean to them.
UTTV will air Studio 865 several times per week, with new episodes airing each week. You can catch new episodes of Studio 865 and The Flip Side on WUOT the first Wednesday of each month at 8 p.m. Listen online at www.wuot.org.

Studio 865 is hosted by local music veteran Todd Steed. Steed has led a number of successful Knoxville bands (Smokin’ Dave, Apelife, The Suns of Phere) and released several nationally recognized recordings, earning positive reviews in publications such as Creem, Musician, No Depression, and several international publications.
